It’s a great opportunity to meet people from different countries\, find out what Scouting is like elsewhere and try something a bit different. \n\n\n\nThere will be lots to get involved with throughout the event\, including: \n\n\n\n\nVideo chats with Scouts from other countries\n\n\n\nText and online chats\n\n\n\nRadio communications\n\n\n\nMaking international connections\n\n\n\nDigital games and challenges\n\n\n\nA range of workshops and activities\n\n\n\n\nBeavers and Cubs\n\n\n\nBeavers and Cubs are invited to join us for a day visit on Saturday. There will be plenty of activities to have a go at\, with opportunities to chat to Scouts from around the world and learn more about how Scouting works in other countries. \n\n\n\nDrop off and pick up will be staggered into two groups: \n\n\n\nDrop off: 9am – Pick up: 5pm \n\n\n\nDrop off: 10am – Pick up: 6pm \n\n\n\nGroups will be allocated these when the programmes are sent around in advance of the event. \n\n\n\nScouts\, Explorers and Network\n\n\n\nScouts\, Explorers and Network are invited to camp with us from Friday to Sunday and take part in the full weekend programme. \n\n\n\nAlongside the JOTA-JOTI activities\, there will be plenty of time to enjoy the camp\, meet other young people from across the District and get involved in everything that’s going on. \n\n\n\nYou don’t need any previous experience with radios or online communications. Just come along\, get involved and see who you can connect with! \n\n\n\nEvent Costs\n\n\n\nSaturday Day Visitors (Beavers and Cubs): £20.00 per person \n\n\n\n*Weekend Campers (Scouts\, Explorers\, and Network): £40.00 per person \n\n\n\nAll Groups are required to self-cater for this event. \n\n\n\n*If you are booking your own accommodation\, the costs for the weekend campers will be reduced by £7.50 per person per night. \n\n\n\nWe’d love to see you there.
