Top Award Recognition Event: Walsall Scouts

Hi,
On Saturday 5th July 2025, we intend on holding an event to recognise the achievements of our young people who have received their Top Awards (Acorn through to King’s Scout Award). We will be holding this at the Walsall Arena and Arts Centre, Hawbush Rd, Bloxwich, Walsall WS3 1AG potentially in several sessions over the afternoon.
In order to facilitate this, we’re asking you to ensure you’ve registered everyone who has received a Top Award in the past 5 years via the Top Awards Completion form on the County Website, if you haven’t already.
We will be working back from the newest entries with a cut-off at the end of May 2025 to determine who we can invite. Whilst we can confirm that everyone who has received an award in the year to May 2025 will receive an invite, we will be working back to fit as many sessions as we can to recognise the significant achievements of our young people.
The day will feature a presentation session with a certificate awarded via the District and we will look at what else we can do closer to the time. We will also be recognising some Adult awards at the same event.
